PCA Board of Directors Extends Habursky Contract

[Washington, D.C., September 10, 2025] The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Board of Directors announces the contract extension of Executive Director Joshua Habursky for 5 years, spanning from 2026 to 2031. Habursky will serve as both the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the trade association and entity holding the association assets, including the Washington, D.C., office property.

"The Board of Directors and Staff have been rolling out new programs, and we experienced our largest increase in membership and revenue in the last decade. This is a team effort, and we are pleased with Josh's leadership in managing this team,” says Todd Naifeh, PCA Board President.

Habursky has been with the IPCPR/PCA since May 2019, initially serving as interim Executive Director before being named full Executive Director in 2024.

"Josh brings energy and new ideas to the association and has a good sense of the direction that the Board of Directors and membership want to take the organization in the next decade. He is already talking about Centennial plans for the 100th Anniversary of the association in 2033,” adds Paul Groh, PCA Board Vice President.

During the course of Josh’s tenure leading the association, the PCA has launched several major initiatives, including the PCA Alliance program, an educational partnership with FIU, and the launch of the World Cigar Show, a trade show done in partnership with Quartz Business Events, Ltd.

“I am very fortunate to work in the epicenter of the premium cigar industry at the PCA with a phenomenal group of people on staff and on the Board. I am grateful for the confidence of our team to lead the organization as we innovate with a watchful eye towards history and tradition,” says Habursky.

At the PCA’s Fall Board of Directors meeting in Washington, D.C., on September 10, 2025, the Board promoted Antoine Reid to Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. The PCA will hire an additional marketing and communications manager to work alongside Antoine in early 2026.
