Hiram & Solomon Appoints Benoît Bail as Vice President of Sales

Hiram & Solomon Cigars has named Benoît Bail as its new Vice President of Sales, signaling a major step in the company’s growth both in the United States and abroad. In his new role, Bail will lead global sales strategy, strengthen U.S. distribution, and expand the brand’s international footprint while becoming an associate of the company.

Bail brings more than a decade of experience across the premium cigar, spirits, and specialty retail industries. His background includes managing multi-country sales portfolios, building route-to-market strategies in Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, and North America, and leading trade marketing and education programs. Beyond cigars, Bail co-founded the Luxembourgish whisky brand Gëllene Léiw and has been active in organizing international trade events, including the Bordeaux Rhum Festival.

In his new position, Bail will oversee state-level initiatives and key account management in the U.S., while also expanding distribution strategies in Europe, the Caribbean Basin, the Middle East, and select Asia-Pacific markets. He will spearhead retail education initiatives such as staff training and guided tastings, and will refine global trade programs and sales operations, including pricing architecture, forecasting, and shared digital tools for retail partners.
