CASA CARRILLO ANNOUNCES CARRILLO CARES PARTNERSHIP WITH DRESS FOR SUCCESS MIAMI THROUGH LA HISTORIA SILK

More La Historia Silk Arrives as Casa Carrillo Launches Initiative to Support Women Pursuing Economic Independence

Miami, FL — July 2026 — Casa Carrillo is proud to announce a new initiative through Carrillo Cares, the company’s charitable arm, supporting Dress for Success Miami through its limited-production La Historia Silk cigar.

With more La Historia Silk now arriving from the factory, a portion of proceeds from the latest shipment sold to retailers will benefit Dress for Success Miami, an organization dedicated to empowering women through professional attire, career development, and workforce support.

Inspired by Women. Investing in Women.

La Historia Silk was inspired by the women whose strength, resilience, and unwavering support helped shape the Perez-Carrillo family legacy. That inspiration continues with this new Carrillo Cares initiative, creating a connection between the story behind La Historia Silk and an organization working to help women build brighter futures.

Since 1994, Dress for Success Miami has helped more than 40,000 women move toward economic independence. Through a network of support, professional attire, and development programs, the organization assists women throughout their career journeys—from preparing for employment and transitioning into a new position to achieving long-term professional success.

“Women have played an important role in our family, our history, and our success,” said Lissette Perez-Carrillo, Co-Founder of Casa Carrillo. “La Historia Silk was inspired by that influence, strength, and support. Partnering with Dress for Success Miami allows us to extend that story beyond the cigar and support an organization that is helping women create opportunities for themselves and their families.”

The initiative reflects Casa Carrillo’s belief that meaningful impact can come from investing in confidence, opportunity, and community.

Carrillo Cares

Giving back has long been an important part of the Casa Carrillo story. Through Carrillo Cares, the company has donated more than $200,000 to the Els for Autism Foundation and continues to support organizations serving members of the military community through its Battleborn cigar.

For Casa Carrillo, philanthropy is an extension of the company’s values and its belief that a premium cigar can represent more than what is inside the box.

“A great cigar can tell a story, bring people together, and make a difference beyond the humidor,” said Perez-Carrillo. “Carrillo Cares gives us an opportunity to use our platform to support organizations doing meaningful work in our communities.”

Inside La Historia Silk

Crafted exclusively in a 6 x 52 Toro, La Historia Silk delivers a refined medium-strength profile designed to appeal to both seasoned aficionados and those discovering the Pérez-Carrillo Series for the first time.

Silk also represents several milestones for Casa Carrillo. It is the first round-format Perez-Carrillo cigar released in the United States and the first cigar to feature the new Casa Carrillo branding on its packaging.

The blend begins with an Ecuador Habano wrapper from Quevedo, aged and fermented for more than 18 months. It is paired with a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí and a complex filler blend featuring Nicaraguan Estelí, Philadelphia Broadleaf, Dominican La Canela, Mexican San Andrés, and rare Dominican Pelo de Oro.
